These are general terms and not legal advice. Have a solicitor review them against your jurisdiction before launch.
1. Nature of the content
This site publishes journalism, commentary and satire about the business of image-making.
Articles in the Fake Famous section are works of fiction. Every person, company, brand and event in them is invented. Any resemblance to a real person or organisation is coincidental and unintended. These articles carry a notice on the article and on the section page, and are marked as satire in the site’s structured data.
Articles elsewhere are reporting and commentary. Factual claims are sourced, and sources are linked. Statements of opinion are labelled as opinion and are offered as opinion.
2. Accuracy
We take reasonable care to be accurate and we correct errors in public. We do not warrant that every statement is free from error, and material may become out of date after publication — figures, prices and legal positions especially.
Nothing here is legal, financial, medical or investment advice.
3. Third-party names and trade marks
Names, trade marks and images of third parties are used for identification, reporting and commentary. Their use does not imply any endorsement of, or affiliation with, this publication.
4. External links
We link to source material. We are not responsible for the content of external sites, and a link is not an endorsement.
5. Your contributions
By submitting a comment you grant us a licence to publish it. We remove comments that make unsourced factual allegations about named people, that target private individuals, or that are abusive. Moderation decisions are ours.
6. Our copyright
Articles on this site are our copyright. Quote us with attribution and a link. Do not republish articles in full without permission.
7. Complaints
See Corrections and Right of Reply. Both are answered on the substance and neither requires a lawyer.
