Corrections are appended to the article they concern, dated, and listed here. We do not remove an error quietly and carry on.
How to report an error
Email hello@staged.info with:
- the URL of the article;
- the specific sentence or figure you say is wrong;
- what the correct position is;
- whatever supports that — a document, a link, a filing, a statement.
We aim to respond within three working days. Where an error is clear, we fix it immediately and publish the note the same day.
What happens next
Correction — a factual error. The article is amended, and a dated note at the top of the article says what it previously said and what changed.
Clarification — the article was accurate but capable of being misread. We add wording and note that we have done so.
Update — the facts have moved on: a judgment appealed, a settlement reached, a figure revised. The article is updated and dated.
Retraction — the piece was wrong at its foundation. It is withdrawn, the URL preserved, and a full explanation published in its place. We do not delete the page, because deleting the page hides the mistake.
